We are looking for a Senior Embedded Wireless Modem Engineer to take ownership of the systems that keep our drones connected, coordinated, and performing flawlessly in the sky.
This is not a narrow, siloed role—you’ll be working across the full stack of wireless communication: from PHY-layer protocol design and signal processing to embedded integration, RF optimization, and real-world validation. Your work will directly impact how hundreds (or thousands) of drones communicate reliably in complex, high-stakes environments.
You’ll be hands-on with everything from modem development and firmware to lab testing and live field deployments—solving tough problems around interference, synchronization, range, and reliability. You’ll also play a key role in getting our systems certified and production-ready, working closely with external labs and internal hardware/software teams.

As a Sr. Embedded Wireless Modem Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:
- Owning the design, development, and optimization of radio modems across sub-GHz (868/915 MHz) and 2.4 GHz ISM bands
- Building robust wireless communication systems using modern RF transceivers (e.g., AT86RF215 and similar)
- Developing and optimizing PHY-layer protocols, including modulation, synchronization, and timing
- Designing signal processing algorithms (filtering, timing recovery, detection) for reliable communication
- Implementing channel coding, error correction, and spread spectrum techniques (FHSS, DSSS)
- Driving system-level RF performance through link budget, coexistence, and optimization analysis
- Integrating RF systems with embedded platforms (MCUs) and developing low-level drivers/firmware (C/C++)
- Debugging and optimizing hardware–firmware interactions in close collaboration with electronics teams
- Running lab and field testing to validate RF performance in real-world conditions
- Leading radio certification efforts (CE, FCC, RED, ETSI), including test planning and execution

Required Qualifications:

About the Role
This is a high-leverage role with end-to-end ownership. You own the software that runs *inside* the robot — the edge agent that orchestrates every dispense, the Linux platform it runs on, and the peripheral integrations that connect compute to the physical machine.
The edge agent is the glue. It takes a prescription, sequences motion through real-time controllers, verifies the dispense with vision, prints the label, talks to the cloud, and writes a tamper-evident audit trail of every action. When something goes wrong on the robot, this is the process that decides whether to stop, retry, or page a human. Getting it right is non-negotiable.
You set the standard for how device software is built, hardened, signed, shipped, and updated in the field. As we scale from 5 robots to a fleet, the platform you build is what makes that scale safe.
You'll work closely with the electrical and firmware engineers on the motor and sensor side, the platform engineer on the cloud side. You own your domain end to end.
What You'll Own
- Edge agent (`edge-agent`) — prescription lifecycle on the robot, device and fill state machines, orchestration of motors, vision, buttons, label printing, and console capture
- Linux platform — minimal, hardened, immutable OS images for the in-robot compute (industrial x86) and the NVIDIA Jetson Thor vision module; kernel configuration, boot, init, packaging
- Secure boot and update path — signed boot chain, dm-verity, A/B partition updates, rollback on failure, key management

- Embedded Linux mastery — You've cut your own distributions. Yocto/Buildroot, kernel configuration, init systems, root filesystem composition, package management. You know what's in a minimal image and what isn't, and why.
- Hardened device platforms — Secure boot, signed kernels and images, dm-verity (or equivalent integrity), A/B partition updates with verified rollback, key and certificate management on device. You've shipped this, not just read the whitepaper.
- Rust on embedded Linux — You've shipped Rust to production on resource-constrained Linux targets. async/Tokio, error handling patterns, type-driven design, cross-compilation, packaging.
- Real-time orchestration and state machines — You've built systems where multiple subsystems (motion, vision, IO) must be sequenced correctly, where partial failure is the norm, and where the wrong state transition is a safety event. Event-driven FSMs are second nature.
- Hardware integration over standard buses — CAN, USB, Serial (UART/RS-485), and Ethernet/TCP-IP. You've debugged a flaky link with a logic analyzer or `candump`, not just a print statement.
- Industrial-grade x86 and ARM compute — You've shipped on at least one industrial SBC or embedded x86 platform and at least one ARM Linux target. You understand the difference between a dev board and a unit that has to run in a pharmacy for five years.
- ARM Cortex MCUs, bare metal and RTOS literacy — You don't have to write the motor firmware, but you have to integrate with engineers who do. You understand bare-metal and RTOS execution models, interrupt latency, and the contracts an MCU exposes to a Linux host.
- Connected device fleets — You've operated devices in the field. OTA updates, telemetry, remote diagnostics, crash collection, recovery from a bricked unit at the other end of a flaky network.

We're building the blueprint for modern go-to-market at Occupier. We are seeking our first dedicated GTM Engineer—an individual who will own the connective tissue across Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience (CX), and Product. Currently, these functions operate with disparate systems and incomplete orchestration—each is well-run, but they are not wired together in ways that allow us to reach our full potential. Your mission will be to architect an AI-first revenue supply chain where every decision point—from account identification to deal closure to expansion—is informed by intelligence, optimized by automation, and freed from busywork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and operate account identification workflows that source, score, and rank prospects by fit and readiness at scale.
- Build multi-signal company scoring models that weight firmographic data, intent signals, product usage (for existing customers), and behavioral indicators.
- Implement contact-level scoring that identifies key decision-makers, influencers, and blockers within target accounts.
- Create feedback loops where rep activity and deal outcomes continuously improve scoring accuracy and account prioritization.
- Own the waterfall enrichment pipelines across data providers (Apollo, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn) to ensure coverage and accuracy.
Required Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in GTM Engineering, RevOps, Sales Operations, or a closely related technical role at a B2B SaaS company.
- Expert-level HubSpot skills: you've built complex workflows, designed data models, and solved real operational problems.
- Deep Clay experience: you've built multi-step enrichment workflows and understand how to operationalize data pipelines at scale.
- Comfortable writing code or scripts (Python, JavaScript, or SQL) to automate and integrate.

As a Solutions Engineer at Intelligems, you’ll own the technical relationship with our customers from the first conversation through expansion. You'll work alongside Sales to remove technical barriers that slow or kill deals, alongside Onboarding to ensure what we sell is what we implement, and alongside Customer Success to identify and unlock expansion opportunities that require new solutioning. The thread connecting all of it is you: the person who understands both what Intelligems can do technically and what the customer is actually trying to accomplish commercially.
Intelligems operates in a technically complex environment — Shopify storefronts, headless architectures, custom integrations, dynamic pricing logic — and the gap between a customer understanding what's possible and a customer believing it's possible for them is real. You're the person who closes that gap.
Key Responsibilities
Own the technical pre-sale motion
- Partner with Account Executives on deals that have technical complexity: integration scoping, custom or headless architecture, and anything where a wrong answer in the first conversation costs us the deal
- Lead technical discovery: understand how a customer's stack is built, where Intelligems fits, and what the implementation will actually require
- Remove technical objections before they become blockers. Turn "I'm not sure if this works with our setup" into a clear path to launch
Drive technical expansion post-sale
- Support Onboarding’s adoption goals by removing technical blockers as customers are learning our platform
- Partner with Customer Success to identify accounts where new solutioning unlocks new revenue: new test types, re-integration scoping, headless implementations, and more
- Translate what the customer wants to accomplish into a concrete technical path forward, and help CS close the deal
What You Bring
- Commercial instincts: you understand that your job is to help the company grow, not just to answer technical questions. You think about deals, velocity, and retention — and you're motivated by those outcomes. You're comfortable being measured on revenue, not just resolution time
- Technical depth: you can hold your own in a conversation about API integrations, JavaScript implementations, Shopify architecture, and custom data pipelines. You don't need to be an engineer, but you need to understand what engineers are building well enough to scope it accurately and explain it clearly
- Customer presence: you're confident in customer-facing conversations, including sales calls where the stakes are real and the customer hasn't committed yet. You know how to build trust quickly, set accurate expectations, and handle pushback without losing the room
Qualifications
- 3+ years in a Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Technical Account Management role, or a customer-facing technical role where you were measured on commercial outcomes
- Experience in B2B SaaS, ideally in a product that required hands-on implementation or integration work
- Comfortable working across a full customer lifecycle and partnering with Sales & Customer Success teams
