  • Margin & Risk Management: Analyze project performance metrics (margin variance, delivery timelines, change orders, rework drivers) to implement continuous improvement initiatives and protect project margins.
  • Lifecycle Execution: Ensure predictable and seamless execution across project kickoff, furniture specification, pre-installation planning, and logistics coordination.
  • Enterprise Growth: Partner with sales leadership on strategic accounts to support business development, and guide teams on how to leverage dancker’s Growth Ventures (e.g., DBE, ForBuild, dePloy).

Qualifications:

Narrative: The Case for HIVE and the Head of Operations Role

Micromobility is surging. Cities around the world are seeing exponential growth in e-scooter and bike usage, driven by demand for faster, cleaner, and more accessible transportation options. But this revolution comes with an overlooked risk: over 80% of all rides happen without a helmet.

That’s not just a statistic—it’s a public health crisis.

The reason for this helmet gap isn’t a lack of awareness; it’s a lack of access. Helmets are bulky. They’re expensive. And unless you carry one with you at all times, they're simply not there when you need them. The very spontaneity that makes micromobility compelling is also what makes it dangerous.

HIVE was built to solve that.

We’ve developed a lightweight, collapsible helmet that folds down to fit in a backpack—and doesn’t break the bank. It’s a product designed for the modern rider: portable, affordable, and ready wherever your ride begins.

But a great product isn’t enough. To bring HIVE to the world, we need to build the operational backbone that will support large-scale city deployment through our unique vending-driven distribution model. This means delivering a helmet experience that is seamless, stocked, and scalable.

We’re now looking for a Head of Operations to help lead that charge.

This person will be among the first key hires at HIVE, joining at a critical moment as we finalize product development and move into scaled market launch. They’ll own the end-to-end operational strategy—from project managing manufacturing and logistics, to building and overseeing our vending infrastructure in key cities. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with deep operational instincts, experience navigating complex supply chains, and a passion for solving first-of-its-kind challenges.

If you're excited by the idea of bringing safety to the streets at scale—and doing it with a product that redefines how helmets show up in the world—then HIVE might be the ride you're looking for.

Head of Engineering

Boundless

Seattle, Washington, United States

Head of Engineering

Location: Seattle, WA, Full-Time

We're hiring a Head of Engineering to reinvent how legal work gets done in the age of AI.

Boundless is a Series C legal tech company based in Seattle, backed by Pioneer Square Labs, Trilogy, Foundry Group (Brad Feld) and Silver Lake. We operate in 10+ countries and have helped over 100,000 people and companies navigate immigration. We build tech-powered immigration solutions for two audiences: corporate HR teams managing high volumes of employer-sponsored cases, and individuals navigating family and naturalization cases.

We have in-house lawyers and are building a world-class AI-powered services firm. Anthropic is not coming for this. Immigration is vertical, regulated, and workflow-deep, and we are racing to build the defining AI product in the category.

Why this role exists

We are rebuilding our software platform and engineering infrastructure from the ground up, and we need a Head of Engineering to lead the team.

You will inherit a real customer base, a real platform, and a great team of engineers.

Immigration is complex, with endless edge cases and global scale. We are building intelligent automation, orchestration, and decision-making to support the agentification of legal workflows, with the checks and balances required to ensure accuracy in a regulated domain and to enable the lawyers who ultimately own legal decisions. The engineering challenge is a team and a system that can handle this complexity without sacrificing accuracy, observability, or speed, at the scale required to reliably serve thousands of people every year.

However,  this is not a caretaker role. The world is changing around us and the team is in the midst of transitioning to both an AI-native customer product and an AI-native development process. You will need to drive change with us, and partner with our existing engineering, product, design, legal and operations teams to build a world-class AI-native platform for legal services, and continue to evolve our development infrastructure towards being a truly AI-native “software factory”.

We are looking for someone who can hold the whole picture: the customer, the team, the platform, the AI layer, the delivery system - and how they interact. Someone who makes hard calls, thinks in years not months, and builds an organization that top-tier engineers find exciting and satisfying to be part of.

We are a remote-first team with a small in-person office in Seattle. We want someone based in Seattle and expect you to be in the office a minimum of 2-days per week.

What you will do

  • Build the team. Retain our top performers, hire more top-tier engineers, and lead, inspire, challenge, level, structure, and grow the team.
  • Own engineering delivery end to end. Roadmap execution, quality, on-call, and the operational health of a platform that customers depend on daily.
  • Evolve team design as the work changes. Service boundaries and team boundaries move together.
  • You’ll be a true player-coach: expected to ship code yourself while leading the team and staying close to the details of everything we build.
  • Drive the AI transition through the team, not around it. Every engineer should be building with LLMs, retrieval, and structured tools as a default.
  • Build the foundational infrastructure that operating teams use to deploy, monitor, and manage agents and LLM-powered customer features at enormous scale.
  • Continue our transition towards a “software factory” engineering model, overhauling dev processes, systems, tools, and culture.
  • Partner with product, design, legal and operations as a peer. Engage thoughtfully in tradeoff conversations about scope, sequencing, and what "done" means in a regulated domain.
  • Set the technical bar in design reviews and hard tradeoff conversations. Make sure architecture decisions get written down and give the team durable context. Help us build a platform that both engineers and operating teams pine for after they leave.
  • Grow engineers into architectural thinking by giving them opportunities to step up, and pushing their thinking constructively.

Who you are

  • You are a builder. You set new benchmarks for output and want a role where your team ships with autonomy and speed. Not a role where you wait for consensus.
  • You have 10+ years in engineering and 4+ years managing engineers, including managing managers or senior ICs.
  • You move fast by making decisions quickly, not by cutting corners. You know the difference between a reversible call and one that will come back to haunt us.
  • You hire well and manage out when you need to. You have built a team you were proud of and you can describe what made it work.
  • You have shipped AI into production and led a team through the shift. You have views on retrieval, evaluation, latency, and where LLMs break down, and you know when to use AI and when another tool is the right call.
  • You have been the technical decision-maker, not just the person who runs the process. You can lead a design review and change the answer.
  • You think in systems. You can hold the team, the platform, the AI layer, and the business constraints in your head at once and see where they don't line up.
  • You have taste. You can build teams and systems where agents and humans work in harmony without overbuilding.
  • You have worked in a domain where correctness has consequences: legal, healthcare, financial services, or public safety. You understand why accuracy and auditability are non-negotiable.

Good signals, not requirements

  • You have worked at both large and small companies and have a preference for small. You understand speed to impact but also know what matters at scale.
  • Founder or CTO experience.
  • You have scaled a team through a platform rebuild or replatforming, and can talk about what you got wrong.
  • Experience with workflow automation.
  • Prior work with vector search, semantic retrieval, or document understanding systems at production scale.

Head of Quality

Dash Bio

Waltham, Massachusetts, United States

Dash Bio is seeking an experienced, strategic, and technically forward-thinking Head of Quality to serve as the senior-most quality leader for the company, setting the vision, strategy, and operating model for quality across all site operations, laboratory systems, and regulated study programs. This individual will own the Quality function end-to-end as a member of the senior leadership team, function as the ultimate escalation point for the Quality Assurance Unit (QAU) for bioanalytical studies under both GLP (21 CFR Part 58, OECD Principles of GLP) and GCP frameworks, and provide independent oversight across all regulated activities — from facility and systems compliance to study conduct and data integrity.

This leader will build and scale the Site Quality organization, define Dash's multi-year quality strategy and roadmap, represent Quality to the executive team and Board, and partner with scientific, automation, and technology leadership to architect a quality infrastructure that is scalable, inspection-ready, and built for a next-generation bioanalysis environment as the company expands to new sites and modalities.

This is an enterprise-wide leadership role spanning four domains: quality strategy & organizational leadership, site quality, lab systems quality, and study quality (GLP/GCP QAU functions).

Key Responsibilities

Quality Strategy & Organizational Leadership

  • Set the strategic vision and multi-year roadmap for the Quality organization, aligning quality priorities with Dash's business strategy, growth plans, and platform expansion across sites and service lines.
  • Serve as a member of the senior leadership team, representing Quality in executive decision-making and reporting quality performance, risk posture, and strategic initiatives directly to the CEO and Board as needed.
  • Build, structure, and scale the Quality organization — including hiring, org design, and succession planning — to support the company's growth from a single-site to a multi-site operation.
  • Own the Quality function's budget, headcount planning, and resource allocation, balancing near-term compliance needs against long-term strategic investments.
  • Define company-wide quality policy and establish the overarching Quality Management System (QMS) framework that site, lab, and study quality teams operate within.
  • Evaluate the quality implications of new business lines, modalities, geographies, or M&A activity, and shape Dash's regulatory and quality strategy accordingly.
  • Champion a company-wide culture of quality, data integrity, and continuous improvement, extending quality mindset and accountability beyond the Quality function itself.

Site Quality

  • Serve as the senior quality authority for all site-level operations at the Waltham facility and future sites, ensuring compliance with FDA, OECD, EMA, and applicable international GLP/GCP regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) for all things related to the site and the laboratory: Document control, CAPA, deviation management, change control, risk management, and training programs.
  • Own preparation for and response to regulatory inspections, client audits, and notified body assessments. Own CAPA implementations related to the site and laboratory.
  • Establish and monitor site quality metrics and KPIs; present trend analyses and insights at Quality Management Reviews.
  • Drive proactive risk management using data-driven approaches and quality intelligence.
  • Frequently audit and inspect the site and laboratory areas.
  • Partner with automation, software engineering, and IT teams to ensure that systems supporting GLP and GCP studies are qualified, validated, and maintained to regulatory standards (GAMP 5, ALCOA+).
  • Evaluate and ensure new laboratory technologies and platforms are qualified prior to use in regulated studies.

Study Quality — QAU (GLP & GCP)

  • Oversee Quality Assurance Unit functions for all GLP-regulated nonclinical studies in accordance with 21 CFR Part 58 and OECD Principles of GLP, including phase inspections, facility inspections, and final report reviews.
  • Extend QAU oversight to GCP-regulated bioanalytical studies supporting clinical programs, ensuring alignment with ICH E6(R3), applicable FDA/EMA guidance, and study-specific requirements.
  • Review and approve GLP study plans (protocols), amendments, and final reports; issue QA statements and inspection findings.
  • Oversee the archivist function and study archive integrity. Maintain the master schedule; oversee GLP archive integrity and access controls.
  • Provide quality oversight of bioanalytical method validation and sample analysis conducted under GLP/GCP, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory guidance (e.g., FDA BMV guidance, EMA guidelines).
  • Liaise directly with sponsors, study directors, and principal investigators on study-specific compliance matters.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline required; advanced degree (MS, PhD) strongly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 12–18 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 6+ years in a senior leadership role building or running a quality organization. Experience in both GLP and GCP environments is required.
  • Executive Leadership: Demonstrated experience operating as a senior quality executive — setting strategy, owning budget and headcount, and reporting to CEO, Board, or equivalent leadership bodies.
  • Regulatory Expertise: Deep working knowledge of 21 CFR Part 58 (FDA GLP), OECD Principles of GLP and OECD Consensus Documents, ICH E6 (GCP), and global regulatory expectations for bioanalytical laboratories. Familiarity with EMA, PMDA, and other major international authorities is a plus.
