Pharmacist - Travel Contract Location: San Andreas, CA Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Position Type: Travel Contract Shift: 10-Hour Day Shifts Schedule: 4x10s Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join an inpatient pharmacy team in San Andreas, CA.The ideal candidate will have strong inpatient pharmacy experience and hands-on experience handling chemotherapy medications . Key Responsibilities Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness Dispense medications according to physician orders and hospital protocols Prepare and handle chemotherapy medications following proper safety procedures Monitor patients' medication therapy and identify potential drug interactions Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals Provide medication information and clinical support to healthcare staff Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation Follow hospital, state, and regulatory pharmacy standards Required Certification BLS Certification Qualifications Inpatient pharmacy experience required Must have experience with chemotherapy drugs Active California Pharmacist license Strong knowledge of inpatient medication management Excellent attention to detail and clinical judgment Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment Education Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent pharmacy degree Active California Pharmacist License required Benefits Competitive weekly pay Housing stipend or assistance Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance Life insurance Dedicated staffing support Why San Andreas, CA?
