Accountant

Summary
The Accountant is responsible for the accurate recording of daily finance transactions as well as assisting in the production of income statements and balance sheets, collectively known as financials, for review. This role handles reconciliations of the GL subledger to the ledger and ensures timely payments to vendors as well as the prompt application of customer payments. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who can act as a strategic liaison between accounting and operations to ensure the proper financial recording and distribution of company funds.
Your Role
- Analyze and prepare general ledger account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
- Maintain accurate accounting and team balances by following established internal processes.
- Prepare routine and adjusting journal entries as well as preliminary financial statements.
- Perform general accounting duties across various functions including cash, fixed assets, payroll, benefits, and third-party services.
- Support year-end audit processes and report any discovered issues or inconsistencies.

- Educational Background: BS in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong mathematical and analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Exceptional Communicator: Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Organized and Ethical: Ability to maintain accurate records and ensure the integrity of company, client, and vendor information.
