About the job

What Your Experience Will Be:
As an Implementation Manager at Slang, you will serve as the first host in a customer’s journey after the sale. You will create a strong first impression by welcoming customers, guiding them clearly, and helping them realize value quickly. Your focus will be fast, thoughtful onboarding, getting customers live within days, and staying closely engaged to ensure confident adoption and success.

You will guide customers through setup, configuration, integrations, and early usage while providing hands-on support and practical consultation. You will work within the Customer Experience and Support organization, partnering closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to deliver a seamless experience from day one. This role is remote and may require occasional travel for company offsites.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Be a Great Host: Deliver a welcoming, clear onboarding experience that builds trust and sets the tone for the customer relationship.
  • Time to Value: Launch customers quickly, typically within their first two weeks, ensuring they feel confident and supported.
  • Onboarding Execution: Guide setup, configuration, and integrations with urgency, removing friction and maintaining momentum.
  • Adoption & Guidance: Stay engaged post launch to drive strong usage, adoption, and practical best practices.
  • Customer Communication: Maintain proactive, warm, and clear communication throughout onboarding and early lifecycle.
  • Cross Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Sales, Product, Support, and Customer Success to resolve issues and ensure a smooth experience.

What You Will Bring:

  • Experience: 1–2 years in customer onboarding, implementation, customer success, hospitality, or another customer facing role.
  • Traits and Behaviors: Hospitality mindset, customer first attitude, strong organization, urgency, empathy, ownership, and ability to manage multiple customers.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast paced environment and able to adjust as customer needs evolve.
  • Coachability: Open to feedback, eager to learn, and motivated to improve.
  • Communication Skills: Clear, warm, and professional written and verbal communication with strong listening skills.
  • Preferred Experience: Experience in SaaS, restaurants, hospitality, or customer support is a plus.

Compensation & Location

Compensation for this role is location-based and benchmarked against local market data aligned to the employee’s primary work location. Total compensation includes a mix of cash and equity and may vary by location, role level, and experience. Our range is therefore wide and not meant as a negotiation range.
